Rights are not a waste of money

I am disappointed, but not surprised at Jim Allister and Robert Oxley's comments about the money spent on maintaining good industrial relations (News, May 1).

Obviously, Mr Allister doesn't regard workers' rights and well-being as important.

Tackling sectarianism, racism and bullying, promoting health and safety, equality and tolerance is not a waste of public money.
