Rising number of car-jackings sparks concern

Has Belfast turned into Cape Town? There are so many car-jackings being reported from all corners of the city in the last six months; no one seems safe anymore.

People are being pulled from their cars on a daily basis, beaten, threatened and having their cars and possessions destroyed.

Why is there not more of an outcry about this big rise in car-jacking? Are the police making any arrests?

I now lock my car every time I drive through the city these days - not a good advertisement for the 'new' Belfast.
