Search for story behind watch

I'm hoping one of your readers can help me. I've just found a pocket watch that belonged to my great-grandfather.

There is a inscription on the back that reads: "Presented to J Hanlon of Warner Bros Pictures Ltd by the directors of Royal Avenue Picture House, Belfast, to commemorate the First Talking Picture booked and shown in Northern Ireland, 29th April 1929." I emailed Warner Brothers UK, but they can't help me. I am trying to find the story behind the watch and, hopefully, a picture of the presentation.
