Society slipping into anarchy

I'm appalled at the apparent inability of the authorities to prosecute those responsible for the bank debacle.

Most of the problem seems to stem from the reluctance of the powers that be to arraign those who can provide the necessary evidence for convictions.

Recently, our grandson was seriously assaulted. Some of the parents of the boys who were with our grandson apparently wouldn't allow their sons to give witness statements and the police seem reluctant to force them to do so.

This reprehensible attitude will result in this society slipping into anarchy.
