Speaking out for minorities

So the Department of Regional Development has begun running Irish language classes for its staff.

The Sinn Fein Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy said they have a responsibility under the European Charter for Minority Languages. This can be classed as discrimination, unless he is also running Chinese, Polish or Urdu Classes. Do they not come under the same charter?

After all, these classes are not of use anywhere outside of Ireland.
