Students' shame on St Patrick's

Once again a shameful display of anti-social behaviour has characterised student activities on St Patrick's day in the Holyland area.

It's hard to believe this horde of selfish morons are a cross-section of those privileged enough to attend our premier places of education. Palestine Street became a no-go area under the noses of the PSNI and was left ankle-deep in cans and other discarded detritus.

I wonder if the prestigious Russell Group, of which Queen's is a member, is happy by association to be linked to these disgraceful events?

Shame on those involved. Now all we have to do is wait until next year for the inevitable re-run.
