Teach children about politics

The majority of young people today have no interest in politics.

When faced with it they seem to say: "Who?" and "What?" From the DUP to the Scottish National Party to Fianna Fail, most young people only know the bare essentials of who runs their country. And if so they only know what is politically current to them and their upbringing.

Children should be taught a form of politics from a young age. Such knowledge is essential, even if you want to watch the news or understand the debates within the newspapers. It shouldn't divide, but make people aware.
