Thank you for helping us to help your pets

This year we at PDSA are celebrating four years of free vet care for pets in Belfast.

Our first facility in Northern Ireland opened in 2006 and, since then, demand for the service has more than doubled.

These days, we regularly see more than 120 pet patients a day and provide more than 42,000 treatments every year.

These range from routine vaccinations to life-saving operations.

It costs more than £685,000 a year to run Belfast PetAid hospital - a figure met by charitable donations and voluntary contributions as we receive no Government or Lottery funding for our PetAid services.

As we reach this milestone, I would like to pay tribute to all our staff, to volunteers, to fundraisers and to clients past and present.

Their support has allowed us to treat generations of pets in need and we look forward to continuing our work for many more years to come.
