Ulster Museum a real treasure

I WONDER if the people of Northern Ireland realise what a treasure we have in the Ulster Museum?

Recently, I spent a busy afternoon there with my four-year-old granddaughter at her request (not her first visit). I was so impressed with the quality and presentation of all the exhibits. Special mention must be made of the children's hands-on areas, which are exactly that – bright and well-presented areas, where children of all ages can learn from a great variety of hands-on objects and other exhibits.

I found all the staff helpful and friendly in enabling us to find all the objects we needed to complete our museum sticker map.

I look forward to many more visits, with or without small people, so that we may sometimes just have the time to take a really good look around.
