Unborn children also deserve human rights

The nature of the mindset driving the abortion industry and its lobbyists is exemplified in David Fullerton's description of the child in the womb as "parasitic" (March 29).

According to Mr Fullerton, because the parasitic unborn child depends entirely on his or her mother, its killing can be justified.

Children are entirely dependent upon their parents for all that is necessary for their life and wellbeing for many years after they are born. Are all children, therefore, to be viewed as parasitic?

The unborn child is, in fact, a human being at the early stage of development, deserving of every protection.

No one has the so-called 'right' to intentionally kill that child for any reason whatsoever.
