Under-pressure staff at Royal deserve praise

There has been much negative reporting in recent months about conditions at the Royal Victoria Hospital. I was recently admitted to the hospital and I wish to write in support of the staff there.

The staff showed great humanity in treating me in a dignified way and took time to explain to me what was happening at each stage of treatment despite the pressure they were clearly under.

The staff should have recognition for the work they do in challenging circumstances and I will continue to choose to attend the Royal when I require treatment.
