Unfair for media to belittle Christianity
I take offence at the piece on the BBC2 This Week programme, on September 29, which featured a parody of Jesus Christ as somehow similar to Jeremy Corbyn.
The only similarity is in the initials of their names. I am sure that Mr Corbyn would be the first to deny any comparison between him and Jesus. Christians, especially over the last 50 years of mass communication, have had to endure this sort of trivialisation of Jesus and the Christianity he founded. But what is particularly annoying is how the BBC - and the media in general - do not belittle, or even criticise, other religions - Islam in particular. Is this because they fear a violent reaction? Such hypocritical cowardice.
