US President Donald Trump wrong with simplistic opinions
There are problems around the world that require the greatest intellects, the bravest hearts, the purest of intent and the strongest hands to unite disparate sides in negotiations to search for solutions that will succeed and last into the distant future.
Sometimes, it takes hundreds of years before initial progress is made, such as with the Irish Troubles, but how does the leader of the free world approach a complex situation, the Middle East?
He simply announces his view and it happens.
President Trump can announce whatever he wants in his own country, for his own country and actually sign it into law by presidential proclamation (although it can be challenged).
He cannot, or should not, proclaim simplistic solutions for complex problems and expect that they will work immediately.
Let the professionals try to solve these problems - and let them take the time to do it properly.
