Use speed fines to improve network

WELL done the Government providers of mobile and static cameras on their success in apprehending speeding drivers (News, October 30).

The so-called "fast bucks" should be used to provide even more cameras and also could be used to further improve public transport and pay for more facilities for pedestrians and everyday cycle users.

In lieu of an additional fine, culprits should undergo a refresher course on basics, such as the Highway Code.
