I write regarding the number of MLAs in Northern Ireland, presently 108 for a population of 1.8 million.
This seems rather too many and costly, in comparison with other UK regions. For example Wales with a three-million population only has 62!
Perhaps we need to prune our top-heavy administration and for that matter the councils.
Surely it would be better to have industrial do-ers and achievers, rather than talkers.
