
Having suffered many horrific terrorist attacks, perhaps we in Northern Ireland, more than some others, can empathise with the pain of the small Newtown, Connecticut, community.
America is a great nation and we have a long history of friendship. During our difficulties, the USA was helpful and, therefore, we now need, in a non-judgmental manner, to support the USA.
Let us all pray and trust this terrible slaughter of innocent children and teachers will be the last. This is the least we owe.
