We owe victims our support

Having suffered many horrific terrorist attacks, perhaps we in Northern Ireland, more than some others, can empathise with the pain of the small Newtown, Connecticut, community.

America is a great nation and we have a long history of friendship. During our difficulties, the USA was helpful and, therefore, we now need, in a non-judgmental manner, to support the USA.

Let us all pray and trust this terrible slaughter of innocent children and teachers will be the last. This is the least we owe.
