We're invaders of seagulls' territory

Before we get too carried away and call in Nato and a few military hawks from the US to deal with the delinquent seagulls taking over our streets and skies, we should ask ourselves: who was here first? (DebateNI, July 28)

The imposters are not our fine feathered friends, but our well-upholstered good selves, so preoccupied have we become with the business of feathering our own nests we have forgotten that, once upon a time, there was no us and only them.
