Were you in the Arctic Convoys?

I am a researcher for Testimony Films and I am working on a new documentary for the Yesterday Channel to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Arctic Convoys in the winter of 1941.

I am wondering if any of your readers who are veterans of the Arctic Convoys would come forward with their memories?

The courage of all the British sailors has recently been honoured in Russia, yet few in Britain are aware of the crucial importance of the mission.

We want to hear how they coped with the dangerous sub-Arctic conditions, the loss of comrades and the threat of attack.

We would also like to hear about camaraderie, the sense of adventure and how it felt to reach their destination safely.

If you or someone you know was involved with the Arctic Convoys, please get in touch.
