Why don't they all retire at 60?
The Minister for Justice would appear to be making the case that the age of the prison officers accepting the 'retirement package' is a relevant consideration and dismisses the claims that this is seen by many in the Prison Service as another capitulation to republicanism like with Patten.
If age is of such importance perhaps he could advise us if he is 60 years of age; should he and his ministerial colleagues not adopt the same criteria to their positions as they are adopting to loyal members of the Prison Service.
Otherwise what is sauce for the goose is certainly not sauce for the gander. It couldn't be double standards by the Alliance Party.
