London Notebook: Seeger strikes a chord with Mark

The Commons has paid tribute to recently deceased singer Pete Seeger.

A motion, tabled by Left-winger Jeremy Corbyn, notes his song We Shall Overcome was "a civil rights anthem" and his Where Have All the Flowers Gone? became "an anti-war standard".

Mark Durkan has signed the motion, but none of our other MPs seems that interested.

Undoubtedly, Naomi Long is too young to remember the 1960s and the DUP don't seem the Seeger type.
