Twitter feed is food for thought

Does anyone fancy seared spiced herrings, sweet potato pickle and minted cucumber yoghurt?

That was just one of the items served up in the Parliamentary canteen recently.

There's much grumbling about the subsidy paid by taxpayers for food and drink at Westminster.

But a glance at the Commons Food Hell Twitter feed, set up by a disgusted diner to provide bulletins of the more eye-catching items on the menu, might even spark sympathy for customers.
