This week marks the 30th anniversary of the Enniskillen bomb on November 8, 1987, and it is still regarded as one of the worst of the many atrocities of the Troubles.

The Remembrance Day bomb caused the death of Marie Wilson and 10 other people, and in today's paper we publish a powerful and moving account of how her mother, Mrs Joan Wilson, has dealt with that tragedy for the past three decades.

Joan Wilson is deeply aware that so many other people on all sides have suffered, and her example has been a shining light for others through all their days of darkness.

Our thoughts are with Joan Wilson, and the others, in this particularly difficult week of commemoration.
