City Hall Christmas market

Northern Ireland is quickly becoming one of the most ‘Instagrammable’ Christmas hotspots. So much so that when it comes to picking the best location for creating that memorable family moment to share on social media with friends, we’re spoilt for choice.

From the log cabins of the Continental Market at the City Hall, to the Christmas tree at the Merchant Hotel, to the various alleys and entries welcoming in the festive season, the flavour of Christmas has spread further across Belfast than ever before.

Joy’s Entry has never had a more appropriate name. But look beyond the bright lights of the city centre and there are little presents everywhere for the social media conscious opportunists.

Cookstown Main Street, taken from the top of Oldtown Street, is a delight to the eye.

The Christmas lights trail at Hillsborough Castle adds glamour.

The spirit of Christmas is alive, and after almost two years of the pandemic, it does the soul good to take in the scenes.
