Yesterday at last brought the news that everyone has been waiting for since lockdown was imposed on December 26. The Executive revealed its roadmap, complete with dates, for restoring a large slice of normality to life in Northern Ireland.

Politicians have been criticised from a number of quarters for being slower than other parts of the UK in easing restrictions, which this has led to considerable frustration, both from the public and from businesses desperate to open their doors again.
