Normally it’s sporting heroes who are the inspiration for their fans. But one little girl has turned the tables and is proving an inspiration for her sporting idols.

Having had a leg amputated at just one year old, Mya Darragh, now aged 10, hasn’t let anything stop her.

And if the enthusiasm and battling spirit of the Belfast girl is matched by the Northern Ireland women’s football team who she’s been backing in the Euro 2022 tournament they’ll not go far wrong.

Football-mad Mya has gone the extra mile to show her support by getting the unique wrap made by Art In Motion in Lisburn for her prosthetic leg which shows support for the NI team.

It’ll give the girls an extra boost to know the lengths some of their fans are prepared to go to in support of their achievements.

Much like the Northern Ireland women’s football team, she’s had to work hard to get where she is today - another goal-den girl for Northern Ireland to be proud of!
