Alcoholism is a disease which brings with it huge societal and personal consequences but which wins little sympathy from those with no direct experience. That is why a play written by a recovering alcoholic which has now been turned into a short film should be required viewing for as wide an audience as possible. Through it themes such as trauma, self harm and mental health problems are explored.

Author Rob Hollway from Belfast is hoping that one day his story could become a feature film. It could prove a powerful medium to warn of the dangers of alcoholism but it has a message of hope as well - Rob has been alcohol free for 10 years.
