Carl Frampton will make his way to the ring in the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, aiming to equal the World title record of Northern Ireland boxing great Dave McAuley with the backing of incredible support which he finds "humbling".
The Jackal Army are here in force, around 4,000 hoping to see their hero defeat Leo Santa Cruz for a second time, retain the WBA World featherweight belt and equal the six-fight World title winning streak of flyweight McAuley, which at one point was a British record.
"My fans are really great and I feel very humble to see all these people have come out to support me. I just want to give them a performance they will remember because they deserve it," said Frampton.
"I'm ready to do whatever it takes to win - it could be my most explosive performance ever."
McAuley added: "I've no doubt Carl will win and then I want to see him go and surpass the record because he's a great fighter and a great guy."
At Friday night's weigh-in both men were inside the 9st limit. The fight is scheduled for around 3.45am Sunday, with coverage starting at 1am live on Sky Sports.
