Feargal McCrory had hoped for a good test at the Europa Hotel tonight but instead he will have a routine bout with journeyman Elvis Guillen.

McCrory's career has gained some momentum since winning at the Ulster Hall earlier this year and after taking care of Guillen, the unbeaten super-featherweight needs a good step up in class.

Popular Coalisland man McCrory defeated Karl Kelly to win the Irish lightweight title but it's super-featherweight honours he is after, whether it be a British or Commonwealth title shot.

"I really feel this year I need to be in the mix for a major title shot. I want to test myself against the top guys," said McCrory.

The show also features former world title challenger James Tennyson who will be hoping that another routine victory at lightweight can lead to him moving back into boxing for a major belt.

Former world kick boxing champion Cathy McAleer should chalk up her third professional victory when she meets Romanian Cristina Busuioc.

Meanwhile, WBC World heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder defends his belt overnight against Dominic Breazeale in Brooklyn.

The undercard is led by Carl Frampton's old foe Kiko Martinez challenging American Gary Russell for the WBC World featherweight title, while in Glasgow tonight Josh Taylor fights for the IBF World light-welter title.
