Mayweather v McGregor: The final taunt - You’re in no shape to beat me

By Adam McKendry

Hyped-up Conor McGregor had the last word ahead of his much-anticipated fight tonight against Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas as the two fighters squared off for the last time before meeting in the ring.

At last night’s weigh-in, where Mayweather suprisingly weighed in at 149lbs, four-and-a-half pounds under the weight limit, McGregor taunted the 11-time World champion, saying he was in the worst shape he’d ever seen him.

“He looks blown out, out of shape, I’m gonna breeze through him,” laughed the Irish MMA fighter, who weighed in at 153lbs. In contrast, Mayweather elected to stay silent as the two fighters faced up to each other, with McGregor screaming in his face.
