Watch: Carl Frampton tries the floss in warm-up to Windsor Park win over Luke Jackson
How does Carl Frampton warm up for one of the biggest nights of his boxing career? Well, not how you'd expect.
The featherweight made light work of previously unbeaten Australian Luke Jackson at Windsor Park on Saturday night, in tip top form as he won the fight during the ninth round.
Frampton went on to explain how he felt more nervous than he normally would, understandable given that this was the realisation of a long-held dream to box at Windsor Park, the home of his beloved Northern Ireland football team.
“I was nervous," he said in the ring after the bout. "And I’m not usually nervous until the changing rooms. I was trying to eat a bit of chicken and my hand was shaking."
However, Carl and another of the night's victorious boxers Steven Ward have given a snapshot of the dressing room mood ahead of their fights.
And the lads seem in joyous form, not least Carl, who even tried his hand at the floss:
Smooth, Carl. In fairness, with these tunes pumping, it would have been rude not to dance:
Steven Ward beat Steve Collins Jr over eight rounds to win the BUI Light heavyweight Celtic title.
