Europeans should have enough
The knockout stages kick-off on Saturday and what a way to get them going with France taking on Argentina followed by Portugal against Uruguay.
Portugal are perhaps not the type of team that blows the opposition away, but over the past couple of years have shown they can get the job done.
Winning Euro 2016 was the perfect example of that.
They also have Cristiano Ronaldo of course.
He will be disappointed not to have scored against Iran the other night and will be doing all he can to put that right against Uruguay.
The Uruguayans have Luis Suarez who, like Ronaldo, can win games on his own, so it promises to be an interesting contest but I think Portugal will just shade it.
Argentina v France is another cracker. They are two teams packed full of quality.
Argentina will take a lot of confidence with the way they defeated Nigeria to reach the last-16 but I fancy France to just nick it in a very tight encounter.
