Big names lined up for action-packed Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival

The Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival fires into life for three action-packed days next weekend - February 6 to 8 - at the King's Hall Pavilion in Belfast.

It will be Nutt Promotions' 20th year at the helm of Ireland's leading motorcycle show and with all the major manufacturers on board to support the event - better known in motorcycling circles as simply 'Billy Nutt's Show' - it's not to be missed.

Students will be able to gain free admission from Friday February 6 at 12 noon, with the official opening times on day one from 2pm to 10pm. On Saturday and Sunday the festival is open from 10am to 5pm with William Dunlop and Alastair Seeley among the star guests.

Meanwhile, the Cookstown 100 Film & Auction evening will take place in the Royal Hotel, Cookstown tomorrow night from 8pm with former double Formula 2 world champion Brian Reid the star guest, with the entertainment including the ever-popular chat show.

The Comber Motorcycle Show takes place tomorrow (5pm-10pm) and Saturday (10am-5pm) in Comber 1st Presbyterian Church.

TT winner Dean Harrison, of the Yamaha UK-backed Mar-Train Racing team, will be the star guest, alongside local legends Ray McCullough and former 250GP star Gary Cowan.

Profits go to the Cancer Fund for Children with £1,500 also donated last year to the Injured Riders Association.
