Guy Martin may have made the decision to miss this year's Isle of Man TT Races in June but - with television work, world record attempts and a stab at completing the world's toughest Mountain Bike race - he will be anything but bored.
Martin's main focus will be the Tour Divide Mountain Bike Challenge that will see the Lincolnshire man climb 200,000 feet during 3,000 gruelling miles between Canada and New Mexico.
Before then, he aims to tackle the Wall of Death challenge that he was forced to put off following his Ulster Grand Prix crash last August. That will be televised live on Channel 4.
On top of that, his ever-popular Speed series will see him take on an English Channel crossing in a human powered airship, before China beckons and a Gobi desert challenge on a pushbike.
Another project put on ice was his world land speed record attempt, and this is now scheduled for July.
