Road racing star to launch Road Racers book in Ballymoney

By Paul Lindsay

Tyco Suzuki's Ulster Grand Prix hat-trick hero, Guy Martin, who was recently voted International Road Racer of the Year by leading motorcycle publication Road Racing Ireland, will be in Ballymoney this Saturday, December 7, to launch Stephen Davison's top new book: ROAD RACERS.

The maverick road racer, truck fitter and TV star will be leading the promotional charge in his own inimitable style at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Garryduff Road, Ballymoney from 1pm through to 4pm, alongside author Davison.

The best selling new book is Davison's eighth motorcycling publication, and is already receiving rave reviews from the likes of weekly 'biking bible', Motor Cycle News.

In his work between the hedges, Stephen Davison is afforded the kind of access that most of us can only dream of. With his unique eye for a picture and astonishing skill with a camera, he follows the best riders in the world as they take on some of the most challenging races the sport has to offer.

He has a talent for getting right under the skin of the sport and is equally adept at creating intimate portraits or, at the other extreme, stunning action photographs showing the spectacular excitement of race day.

Road Racing Ireland's bumper 96-page yearbook is now on sale in all-leading newsagents with Guy Martin adorning the cover. It includes a free 2014 wallplanner and all this year's leading protagonists are honoured, with Michael Dunlop named as RRI's 2013 Rider of the Year and Mar-Train Racing their team of the season.
