Beware the Red Army

Look out Linfield and Crusaders.... with panto season coming... they're behind you. Cliftonville, that is.

After winning just once in seven league games, the Reds looked anything but champions.

Lately though they've scratched out a victory over Ballymena and last weekend came from behind at Coleraine to win 4-3 – and this with only 10 men. That was a champion result.

Now just five points behind the table-topping Blues and two adrift of Crusaders, the Reds could make the Irish League a three horse title race after all.

Tommy Breslin's men face Portadown and Linfield next.

Win those two and Cliftonville really will be back in business.
