Indian Castle's stamina is the key to third day finale

By Robert Fenton

Donald McCain has a consistent record in the Kim Muir Chase and he has a chance second to none in today's finale with Indian Castle.

The trainer won the race in 2007 and again in 2010 before losing out in a photo last year.

Stamina should not be problem for Indian who has won two of his three chases, the latest over Cheltenham's 2m 5f in January and, first time, in a Beginners' Chase over 3m 1f at Wetherby.

This is always a tough contest and of the Irish contenders Tony Martin, who had three entered, relies on Wrong Turn and this one, stepping up in trip, is capable of running into a place after winning on his last three completed starts.

The Ryanair Chase brings two greys into the fray in Dynaste and Al Ferof.

The former was a warm favourite for this last year before being comprehensively beaten by Benefficient who is back for another crack.

Dynaste and Al Ferof clashed in the King George in which Ferof finished third on unsuitable ground while Dynaste was tailed off having pulled a muslce.

Good ground will suit Ferof much better and he's worth taking a chance on.
