The Punter: Baby to keep it in family

Go Baby go! That will be the cry in today's Foxhunters Chase as Baby Run aims to win the ‘Amateurs Gold Cup' and keep the prize very much in the family.

A member of the Nigel Twiston-Davies stable, he was ridden to victory last year by Nigel's son Sam, and this time has Sam's younger brother Willie on board. The 16-year-old has won on him twice this season at Wetherby and Haydock, so the handover has been seamless.

It would be something special if Nigel landed the same Gold Cup-Foxhunters double as he did 12 months ago and the prospects of that certainly can't be ruled out.

Whatever the outcome earlier in the day, Baby Run has a very solid look judging by his Hunter Chase form in which he likes to be the hare with his front-running tactics.

At odds of around 3-1, he's the banker on the final day for the ‘get out of trouble' merchants.
