The Punter: Chelsea at the double for Premier League title and FA Cup

Chelsea are very much in line for a Premier League and FA Cup double.

The draw for the latter has given them a great chance of making the semi-finals.

Neither Stoke City nor Man City will relish the visit to Stamford Bridge

The Blues are 3-1 for the double and 18-1 for the treble which includes the Champions League.

And those who don’t fancy them to win anything can take 23-10 with Paddy Power.

With Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United all sitting on the sidelines, Chelsea head the market at 13-10.

And, of course, the likes of Villa, Spurs and Man City all face replays.

What an intriguing game it will be if City get through as that will see the first clash between John Terry and Wayne Bridge since their fall-out over the revelations of Terry’s personal life.

Carling Cup finalists Villa, lucky to get a second bite at Crystal Palace, are the new 4-1 second favourites. They should come through that replay and a trip to West Brom or Reading should not hold too many fears.

In fact Villa could well make two visits to Wembley this season and a nice bet is the 11-2 from William Hill on it being a Villa-Chelsea final.

Birmingham City began the campaign as 100-1 outsiders but are now down to 9-1 with a solid chance of beating cash-strapped Portsmouth. Fulham will appeal to many as they are at home to Bolton or Spurs and are 3-1 to be at Wembley. With luck in the draw, they could well be there.

FA Cup (Paddy Power): 13-10 Chelsea; |4-1 Villa; 5-1 Spurs; 9-1 Birmingham, Fulham, Man City; 16-1 Portsmouth; 33-1 West Brom; 50-1 Bolton; 100-1 Reading; 200-1 Crystal Palace.
