Ireland trio Mark Adair, Gareth Delany and Shane Getkate have earned their first full central contracts by Cricket Ireland.

The three players are among 19 players handed senior deals by Ireland for 2020 after an impressive year in 2019.

Adair, 23, was given a contract midway through last year, with this being the fast bowler's first full central contract after bursting onto the international scene.

All-rounders Delany, 22, and Getkate, 28, have also earned their way into contracted spots with the national selectors for the first time for 2020.

"The Selectors have been working hard over the last two years to help identify and mould a squad of players that blends our young talented players with the experience of our senior players," said Andrew White, chairman of National Men's Selectors.

"We must keep driving the standards of performance higher and I know the players and coaching staff are determined to push on to the next level."

Ireland are currently in Barbados for their ODI series against the West Indies, which they trail 1-0 after losing the first game on Tuesday, with the second game on Thursday.

Cricket Ireland central contracts: Mark Adair, Andrew Balbirnie, Gareth Delany, George Dockrell, Shane Getkate, Tyrone Kane, Andrew McBrine, Barry McCarthy, James McCollum, Kevin O'Brien, William Porterfield, Boyd Rankin, Simi Singh, Paul Stirling, Harry Tector, Stuart Thompson, Lorcan Tucker, Gary Wilson, Craig Young.
