Brigade will have a weekend double header to start the North West season when they face Killyclooney and Strabane on successive days in the White Horse Hotel T20 Cup.

Beaten finalists in 2019 - and again last year when the competition was played for the Senior Cup - Brigade are in the three-team Group A, so the sides play each other three times over the five weekends. Strabane and Killyclooney also have a double header weekend but Brigade have two.

Donemana, who beat Brigade in the last two T20 finals, are due to play St Johnston on the opening day - Saturday, May 8 - but the Donegal outfit are still waiting permission to return to action. They will forfeit all matches in Group D until they get the go-ahead.

Coleraine and Bready, last year's other group winners, head Groups B and C this season and start with away games against Bonds Glen and Glendermott, respectively.

Meanwhile, Ireland Wolves' three-match series against Netherlands A will take place in Oak Hill, Co Wicklow on May 10, 12 and 13.

Northern Knights wicket-keeper Neil Rock will hope to be playing in the series and the Rush batsman will start the season with Carrickfergus after signing for the NCU club yesterday on a temporary transfer - with no start date for the Leinster League yet due to the ongoing Covid restrictions in the Republic.

May 8: Brigade v Killyclooney, Bonds Glen v Coleraine, Eglinton v Fox Lodge, Glendermott v Bready, Newbuildings v Burndennett, Ballyspallen v Ardmore, Donemana v St Johnston. May 9: Strabane v Brigade.
