Tried and tested: Conor Harte will earn his 200th Ireland cap

Ireland coach Craig Fulton has named a squad of 27, including 13 Ulstermen, to take on Pakistan this week at Lisnagarvey as part of the preparation for their final World Cup qualifier.

Fulton will use 18 in tomorrow's first game (7.30pm) and the remaining nine in the second game on Saturday (2.30pm) before he chooses his selection for the final game on Sunday (also 2.30pm).

With many of the Rio Olympic squad available again, including former captain John Jackson and striker Peter Caruth, as well as most of the young squad that won the World League 2 series at Stormont back in March, Fulton has a fine blend of youth and experience to work with as he fine-tunes things for the Hamburg Masters in June and, in particular, the World League 3 series in Johannesburg in July from which tickets to the 2018 World Cup finals can be won.

Some of Ulster's rising stars - Matthew Bell, Sean Murray, Matthew Nelson and Owen Magee - get their chance to impress again, while Conor Harte will join the 200 club and Luke Madeley will earn his first cap.

IRELAND: David Harte, Jamie Carr, Jonny Bell, Lee Cole, John Jackson, Stuart Loughrey , Conor Harte, Matthew Bell, Chris Cargo, Shane O'Donoghue, Neal Glassey , Kirk Shimmins, Sean Murray , Eugene Magee, Johnny McKee, Matthew Nelson, Alan Sothern, Jeremy Duncan, Mark Ingram, Paul Gleghorne, Sam O'Connor, Luke Madeley , Stephen Cole, Drew Carlisle, Peter Caruth, Julian Dale, Owen Magee
