Defending champions Bready, Fox Lodge and Ballyspallen lead the way after two rounds of the Long’s SuperValu Premiership as all three completed their second victories yesterday.

It was, however, a horror weekend for Brigade who fell at the first hurdle in their defence of the Sportshub Senior Cup and then lost yesterday to Ardmore, bowled out for just 72, after their 68 runs defeat by St Johnston.

In the Super Series, Dragons won their first home game, with new overseas player Arlene Kelly enjoying a good all-round display in a 64 runs victory over Typhoons at Wallace Park.
