Yorkshire thrash Durham as Kohler-Cadmore turns on the style in One-Day Cup
Adil Rashid shone with the ball too as Yorkshire dominated in Chester-le-Street.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore smashed 164 as Yorkshire made a winning start in the Royal London One-Day Cup with a crushing 142-run win at Durham.
The former Worcestershire batsman hit seven sixes and 15 fours in an impressive 151-ball knock that propelled his side to a formidable 328 for four, with Indian Cheteshwar Pujara adding 82.
Matty Potts took three for 69 but it was a tough afternoon in the field for the hosts in the North Group clash.
The chase proved beyond Durham as England leg-spinner Adil Rashid, making his first Yorkshire appearance since opting to become a limited-overs specialist, took an impressive four for 47.
Michael Richardson top-scored for Durham with 43 and there was some later resistance from Stuart Poynter (36) and Potts (30) but a Yorkshire victory was never in doubt. The home side were eventually all out for 186.
Somerset enjoyed an emphatic win over Surrey at The Oval in the South Group, powering to an eight-wicket success after Craig Overton ripped through the hosts.
Overton took four for 27 as Surrey were skittled for just 129. The visitors needed just 21.3 overs to knock off the runs, with opener Johann Myburgh finishing unbeaten on 75.
