Carroll is geared up for his fundraising cycle

By Adam McKendry

EHA Racing has partnered with mental health charity CAUSE to support local lad Adam Carroll's fundraising efforts.

Carroll will be cycling over 300 miles around local Sainsbury's stores this June in memory of a former colleague and friend.

Carroll will be assisted by EHA Racing, with added support from local cycling retailer Dave Kane Cycles in Belfast, and he has been given a Cannondale road bike and their famous fluorescent yellow and black cycling kit to help complete his fundraising project.

The Holywood man is aiming to raise as much money as he can for CAUSE to highlight the invaluable role that families and friends have in helping people recover from severe mental illness, part of the charity's 'Get On Your Bike For CAUSE' campaign.

EHA Racing's PR & Commercial Manager Paul Lindsay said: "It's been a pleasure assisting CAUSE and Adam with the early stages of this project, and just seeing his face when he got to meet Andy Reid, David Allingham and Alastair Seeley was satisfaction enough for us.

"Mental health illness should no longer be a taboo subject with so many people suffering, and taking Adam's circumstances into the equation, all at EHA Racing and Dave Kane Cycles are fully supportive of his efforts to raise funds for such an inspirational local charity."

• ISLE of Man TT legend Dan Sayle will make his KDM Hire Cookstown 100 debut in 10 days' time.

An eight-time TT winner as a sidecar ballast, along with three Manx Grand Prix wins, Sayle will contest the Moto 3 class on his NSF 250 Honda.
