Argentina arrive in style as Rolling Stones plane lands in Russia

Argentina landed in Russia ahead of the World Cup on Saturday night – arriving on an aeroplane emblazoned with Rolling Stones imagery.
Superstar forward Lionel Messi was in the party that touched down ahead of the Russia 2018 finals.
Juventus striker Paulo Dybala posted a photograph on Instagram of himself along with Gonzalo Higuain and Gabriel Mercado outside the aircraft before the flight.
The Argentinian Football Association (AFA) later showed the team had reached their destination, in a picture posted soon after 9pm BST.
“We’ve arrived!” the AFA’s accompanying message said. “@afaseleccion is now in #Russia. Now let the 2018 FIFA World Cup begin.”
Messi was shown being greeted by local officials keen to have their photograph taken with the Barcelona player.
Argentina have been preparing in Barcelona for the finals, as they seek to win the tournament for the first time since 1986, when Diego Maradona masterminded their triumph in Mexico.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero posted shots of himself and Messi on the luxury jet.
Jorge Sampaoli’s team arrived in Moscow, Argentinian media reports said, and went straight to their tournament base in nearby Bronnitsy.
Argentina begin their group-stage campaign against Iceland next Saturday.
