Arsenal will appoint Unai Emery as their new manager, according to reports.
The BBC has reported that following a thorough recruitment process, Emery emerged as the unanimous choice.
Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta had been the favourite to succeed Arsene Wenger.
The 46-year-old Spaniard has recently left Paris St-Germain where he won one Ligue 1 title and four domestic cups in two seasons in charge.
He has previously managed Sevilla, where he won three Europa League titles.
An announcement is expected later this week.
