Brentford midfielder Alan Judge begins recovery from broken leg
Brentford midfielder Alan Judge has set out on the road to recovery after starting his rehabilitation from a leg fracture.
The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international suffered the break, which required surgery to repair, in a challenge with Ipswich defender Luke Hyam on April 9.
He tweeted a picture of his leg on Monday, accompanied by the message: "Rehab starting today."
Judge made his senior Ireland debut in a friendly against Switzerland in March, but his hopes of making it into Martin O'Neill's squad for this summer's Euro 2016 have been dashed by his injury misfortune.
The Bees man was hurt just two minutes into his side's 3-1 Sky Bet Championship win at Portman Road with a distraught Hyam, who was sent off in first-half injury time for a second bookable offence, later apologising for his challenge.
