Joy and pain: Frank Lampard celebrates leading Derby into the play-off final

Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas endured SkyBet Championship play-off heartbreak last night as his two goals for Leeds United weren't enough to fire his side to a Wembley final against Aston Villa.

Derby made history by becoming the first side to win a second-tier play-off semi-final after losing the first leg at home.

Substitute Jack Marriott scored twice to help blast the Rams into the Championship play-off final on May 27 after a 4-2 victory.

Former Crusaders hero Dallas struck twice for the hosts but further Derby goals from Mason Mount and Harry Wilson sealed United's fate.

Derby boss Frank Lampard said: "It was tough to watch but beautiful in the end. They're a top-quality team and you've got to be nervous to the end because this means so much to so many people."
