David Moyes: Former Manchester United manager still trying to get to grips with Spanish at Real Sociedad

By Simon Rice

David Moyes has only been in charge of Real Sociedad for a month and can be forgiven for having not yet got to grip with the Spanish language.

However, despite the former Manchester United manager's short time to adapt to his new surroundings, that's unlikely to stop the video below going viral.

Moyes returned to management last month following his disastrous 10-month reign at Old Trafford, taking the vacant post at Real Sociedad. The switch to La Liga saw the Scot become one of few British managers to try their luck abroad.

The 54-year-old has enjoyed a decent start, drawing his opening match and picking up a 3-0 win last Friday against Elche.

Moyes must now be hoping his mastering of the Spanish language can take a similarly positive turn judging by his latest press conference.

The video will spark comparisons with a video that emerged of Steve McClaren during his successful time in the Netherlands as manager of FC Twente.

Real Sociedad take on Real Oviedo in the Copa del Rey this evening.
