Keep calm and Northern Ireland will carry on to Euro finals

Confident Norwood's message to anxious fans for crunch game

Northern Ireland star Oliver Norwood has moved to ease the fears of anxious fans by insisting the team are relaxed and ready to turn the Euro 2016 dream into reality against Greece at Windsor Park on Thursday night.

Michael O'Neill's men know that victory over the Greeks will take them to next year's finals in France, but with key figures Kyle Lafferty, Chris Baird and Conor McLaughlin suspended and Jonny Evans struggling with injury, there is concern amongst supporters that Northern Ireland may be forced to wait until a nerve tingling final Group F Sunday showdown in Finland to qualify.

Reading midfielder Norwood said: "We have some really good players in the squad who have been unfortunate not to play more in the campaign, but now there will be an opportunity for some of them to come in.

"Throughout this campaign it has been a squad effort. We are feeling relaxed and feel we have more than enough to win this game and seal our qualification for the Euro finals."
